SHIPPING AND MARKING REQUIREMENTS



 

The purpose of these requirements is to ensure accurate receipt of your products efficiently.

 

North American Truck Shipments

  • Truck appointment made (513) 367-8795

  • Receiving hours are 6:00 am until 12:30 pm (eastern time)

  • Shipped by required truck line

  • Shipment on 40”W x 48”L or 42”W x 48”L hardwood pallets

  • No plastic pallets accepted from domestic Sellers

  • Pallets not to exceed 5’4” in height

  • Packing slip attached to shipment Packing slip reflects Hubert’s PO number

  • Packing slip reflects Seller part number

  • Packing reflects item description

  • Packing slip reflects quantity shipped

  • Freight bill marked with piece count, not skid count

  • PO number listed on freight bill

  • Hubert PO number marked on all cartons

  • Carton marked with Seller part number (& if possible, Hubert item #)

  • Carton marked with product quantity

  • Country of origin clearly marked on all individual items

North American Small Package Shipments

  • Shipped by required small package carrier

  • Seller name on carrier shipping label

  • Packing slip attached to shipment

  • Packing slip reflects Hubert’s PO number

  • Packing slip reflects Seller part number

  • Packing slip reflects item description

  • Packing slip reflects quantity shipped

  • Hubert PO number marked on all cartons

  • Carton marked with Seller part number (& if possible, Hubert item #)

  • Carton marked with product quantity

  • Cartons numbered in sequence (e.g. 1 or 3, 2 or 3, 3 of 3)

  • Country of origin clearly marked on all individual items

Overseas Import Shipments

  • Shipped by required freight forwarder

  • Country of origin clearly marked on all individual items, inner packs and master cases

  • Packing slip attached to end of container

  • Packing slip reflects Hubert’s PO number

  • Packing slip reflects Seller part number

  • Packing slip reflects items description

  • Packing reflects quantity shipped

  • Ocean freight bill marked with piece count

  • PO number listed on freight bill

  • Hubert PO number marked with piece count

  • Carton marked with Seller part number (& if possible, Hubert item #)

  • Carton marked with product quantity

  • A high Security Container seal must meet or exceed the current PAS ISO 17712 standards.

Failure to follow these requirements will result in your shipment being refused at the time of delivery or result in a warning letter for the first offense and then a $50.00 surcharge for all following violations. The Seller is responsible for all fines, penalties and expenses incurred for COO non-compliance.
